I've been using Dosbox forever, and I'm pretty good with it. But Dosbox Daum, emulating Windows inside of it, etc. definitely still in the learning stage. The whole reason I even learned about this stuff is because I wanted to have Johnny Castaway as a screensaver on Win 10 lol. Then it just spiraled, I love this shit. Just uninstall the original game within win95 (as you would've done back then) and while there edit the win.ini so that the package wont try to auto launch. Now it's a blank win95 build.

As for Windows 3.1, you can edit the .conf files. Add a # to the bginning of the last line and remove the # from the begin of the line before it. It will now boot to the Win3.1 OS.Biffman 101https://www.blogger.com/profile/10163763573158975266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4423256436225847966.post-90748102582614792342020-06-26T02:34:17.790+01:002020-06-26T02:34:17.790+01:00Nice! That other one looked interesting though.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7Bd5mGuKXY

Also, have you thought about releasing a download of Windows 95 or 3.1 running in Dosbox Daum? I was able to get 3.1 running just fine after a lot of tinkering, but 95 is being a real asshole. It had an interactive hub that you could walk around in that was a space station! You could walk around the station and go to the different games you wanted to play the demo of. I remember that this game was one of the games on it, I THINK you could only play as one character and it was just one fight, but I remember thinking that the graphics looked amazing (still like the look to be honest), and also, I could never get the characters to move right, I think I might have been around 5 at the time lol. Anyways, the point of this rambling is this: I had very vague memories about this game, I had always wondered what it was and wanted to find it again, but couldn't remember any details about it at all. I couldn't even tell you the name of that demo disk back then. But then I come across this, BOOM, memories come flooding back. I download it (finally!), boot it up, it works flawlessly! Yeah it doesn't control great, but I'm glad I finally got the chance to play this again. Keep doing what you're doing man, loving the games you're doing this with. I hate how hard it is to get some of these games to work on Windows 10, so I appreciate you mother f**ker.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
