I periodically keep track of all of the games that have been requested which you can see below. As with all requests, there's no guarantee I'll touch any of these let alone get them working. Those that I've tried and failed will also be mentioned.
Due to the number of requests I get, I may not respond to each and every one of them individually. I tend to at least read them all anyway so keep them coming, though. I'm always up for discovering new games.
Games that are listed as 'Working. Not fully tested' mean I've only gone so far as getting it to launch. A very brief play at the most. These are subject to change if and when errors pop up later in the game.
Fulfilled requests and those which are now sold will be removed from the list.

Can you please try to see if you can get Disney's Ready For Math With Pooh up and running along with Rugrats Adventure Game.
ReplyDeleteI recall these have been mentioned before. I must have missed them when updating my spreadsheet. I have the ISOs but not done anything with them.
DeleteI don't know if it's been mentioned before, or even if I was the one requesting the it, but I'd really like to see the Starship Troopers FPS fixed up for modern systems. Also, thank you so much for Star Wars Droidworks, that was an old childhood favorite that I finally finished because you made it run. That really made my month.
ReplyDeleteI have the Strategy from 2000 game working well enough and have been meaning to put it up for some time. Just need to play the darn thing - it's not my favourite genre tbh. I'm not familiar with the FPS
DeleteI am surprised this isn;t on the list but: Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego (1997) alternatively called Carmen Sandiego's Great Chase Through Time. I know I have tried many ways and vms to get it to work and I had it going once a long time ago but I haven't been able to get it since.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see my requests Elite Heli Squad (2005), Extreme Assault (1997) and Need for Speed 2: SE (1997) still on the list. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd also like to add another driving game to your list if it's okay - Rally Challenge (1997) https://www.old-games.ru/game/screenshots/2759.html
PS: may I point out that SEGA Rally Championship (1997) already has a neat version released here: https://archive.org/details/srally1_portable
Along with SEGA RALLY 2 https://archive.org/details/segarally2_portable
DeleteSome of the games on the request list are already done on other sites that do repaks like the collection chamber, check out https://www.magipack.games/ the sega racing games are on thier as well as need for speed. I thank both the collection chamber & sites like magikpak games for thier efforts with all the old games.
DeleteYes please to maths blaster?
ReplyDeleteHave you considered getting Total Distortion to work which was a Win 3.1 game, I noticed it wasn't on the list
ReplyDeleteI haven't, buy I'll put it on the list now.
DeleteDeathkeep (Win)
ReplyDeleteIron Helix (Win)
Thanks for the suggestions. I've added them to the list.
DeleteI was going to suggest Vampire Diaries but I see it's already on the list. It's an interesting FMV game from the nineties and it is much sought after. Otherwise, it would be lovely to see Connections on here - a most enjoyable game and one of the better "edutainment" titles I have played; it was a Win 3.1 game. Also, Mummy: Tomb of the Pharaoh with Malcolm McDowell would be nice as something of a companion piece to Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster. Thanks for all you have done here. It is much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteMartian Gothic (win)
ReplyDeleteI put up a package for this one on my site a few days ago.
DeleteYou guys should put Beast and Bumpkins up. Not for me but for others. Its a very obscure RTS game just before Age of Empires released by EA Games in Europe and Australia only. It works native under Win10 with DXwnd. A very unique game not documented very much on the internet too, not many people would of played this. Has alot of character similar to the way Theme Hospital does.
ReplyDeleteI have heard of this. Played the demo back in the day. I honestly though it was available to but on GOG or Steam so I looked past it, but I'll add it to the request list
DeleteYeah I only played the demo back in the day, took me ages to find it lately. Not being released in the states obviously limited it audience. But yeah doubt it will ever go on GOG or Steam due to the fact it was never released in the USA. Its a hard and challenging game that holds up well gameplay wise to this day. Download it and review it! Was a Windows 95 game and came on alot of demo discs back in the day. Im only half way through and it gets pretty challenging.
DeleteOne of the few good tactical shooters which was a console exclusive was Ghost Recon 2, really was great that running on PC with M+KB support or even just controller would be fantastic to see if you ever get a chance and clear the backlog :) Cheers.
ReplyDeleteCan you please try to get Gadget: Past as Future and Necrobius working? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI can't resist sticking my nose in here. See the link on the right to Zomb's Lair? If you click that link, you'll find a working version of Gadget: Past as Future for modern systems.
ReplyDeleteI know Zombeaver has said he wants to avoid overlap with the Collection Chamber. If Biffman also wants to avoid overlap, then as well as Gadget, I should point out that Blue Heat wouldn't need to be on this list either, as it is also in Zomb's Lair.
It's not a hard and fast rule. I know Zombeaver has released some titles I'd already put up here. I suspect Gadget may be here at some point too, 'cos I really wanna play it and I might as well write about it too. L-Zone too as that would complete Haruhiko Shono trilogy with Alice: An Interactive Museum.
DeleteGood plan! I had forgotten that you told me about L-Zone on the Alice page, over a year ago! Yes, it would be good to do all of them. Zombeaver has done both versions of Gadget (the original - Gadget: Invention, Travel and Adventure - and the remake - Gadget: Past as Future), but I can't work out how to save in the original version and how to properly quit in the remake version. I should probably tell him these problems, I suppose.
DeleteI would love an upload of Gadget: Invention here as I cannot install Windows 3.1.
DeleteBut nevermind, I found Zombeavers's Gadget package lol. I would like to request the Magic School Bus games instead then :)
DeleteI'd like to see Disney's The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride Gamebreak on here. I played a lot of Conga Longa and Swampberry Sling from that when I was little lol
ReplyDeleteUnless I'm thinking of a different one (there are so many), I've already got it working. At least preliminarily. If that's the one, I won't add it to the Request List as it's likely to be part of the next Disney triple.
DeleteHi, you're doing amazing work. I am looking for Hopkins FBI (1998) > https://www.mobygames.com/game/hopkins-fbi
ReplyDeleteThanks for the request. I have added it to our list. Can't promise we can get it to work or when we will get to it, but will do our best :)
DeleteHi, can I put a request in for Evil Dead - Hail to the King please.
ReplyDeleteIf not, no worries. Thanks!
I've wanted to add Hail to the King since the very beginning of this site. I didn't have much luck but it has been several years since I gave it a go. Not sure when I'll get to it again though.
DeleteAye, such an underrated game. I played the hell out of it on my PS1 back in the day. I hope you manage to get it up and running one day.
DeleteGreat site, by the way. I had to give the two Goosebumps games a download. Such a nostalgia hit. Cheers.
So I've got Hail to the King up and running well, but am I missing something? The game seems *terrible* based on my time with it so far. I don't quite understand the hubbub haha. The combat seems very bad and tedious, and there's a lot of it. I love the Evil Dead series and I love survival horror so I feel like I'm squarely in the target demographic, but hoo boy I'm really not feelin' this one. Will probably still release it but man...
DeleteAlright, it's up now for anyone interested: https://www.zombs-lair.com/evil-dead-hail-to-the-king
DeleteMy opinion didn't change a whole lot although it at least gets a bit better in the second half. The combat just really doesn't do it for me *shrug*
I was going to originally suggest Take No Prisoners, but I see that's already on the 'maybe' list. Managed to get the PC version working more or less fine for singleplayer, couldn't get LAN to launch correctly however. Would love to know if you ever gave it any further thought?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the Chamber treatment for Oni (https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Oni) and Sub Culture (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sub_Culture). Thank to you I can play The Thing.
ReplyDeleteHey Biffman =)
ReplyDeleteI have another request. A bizarre Russian FPS horror called 'You Are Empty'
And thank you again for your work on getting Quarantine playable!
Someone watches Civvie lol, I wanna try it too.
DeleteI'd love to try this game, but haven't been able to get it to work.
ReplyDeleteThe New Adventures of the Time Machine
https://www.myabandonware.com/game/the-new-adventures-of-the-time-machine-baw
This one always looked interesting, and by the way, you're awesome.
I have a request and I hope it'll fit here.
ReplyDeleteIt's for the interactive DVD game called "Scourge of Worlds: A Dungeons & Dragons Adventure"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scourge_of_Worlds:_A_Dungeons_%26_Dragons_Adventure
I really appreciate all the work you do i have been able to re-live so many childhood memories that were lost to time and modern computers, thank you.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting/trying to for years to get FireFight from chaos works/epic mega games working on a modern system. I would love it if you could add it to the list of"maybes"
Cheers for all your hard work!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, I vaguely recall seeing Crime Killer (1998 racing game, also released on PSX) listed here, but I can't find it anywhere here. Any plan to (re-?)release it?
Got a couple to suggest, could see if you could get the 2 Pink Panther games working, Passport to Peril and Hokus Pokus Pink
ReplyDeleteMy fav retro blog, thanks for all your hard work! I suggest Gruntz by Monolith Productions - https://www.mobygames.com/game/gruntz.
ReplyDeleteLooks like there's an active community surrounding the game as well @ https://gooroosgruntz.proboards.com/
A good one to get working if possible is Steven Spielbergs Directors Chair
ReplyDeleteAn interesting game. I tried to get it running some time back, but there was issues with disk 3 when the final movie was supposed to be put together. I'm sure I'll look at it again sometime.
DeleteEcstatica 2 (windows version)
ReplyDeleteI saw you had the first game both dos & window version.
Bioforge (Windows 95)
ReplyDeletethis version has higher frame rates and higher resolution!!!
Bioforge is still commercial via GOG (even though it's the DOS version), so that's unlikely.
DeleteAwwww man didn't know :(
DeleteHope maybe the DOS version doesn't count as the Windows version? hahahaha
Hi!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if people already requested but is it possible to put these on your list: The Pink Panther: Passport to Peril and The Pink Panther: Hokus Pokus Pink? I used to play a lot when I was a kid and one of them I never got to go to the end, so it's a life wish to finish it.
Thank you so much for all the games here.
It is on the list, somewhere. The ScummVM team are working on them (thoug hits been a while) so I've been waiting on that.
DeleteNot sure if this has been suggested before, nor if it really fits the with most of the games you release: "Ballerburg Castle Siege" by Ascorion - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtkowzpxQHU
ReplyDeleteI've owned it on Ps1 back as a child, I believe there is a PC version from around 2001, but I'm yet to find it online, let alone find out if it even works.
Have the "WALLACE and GROMIT" Fun Pack(s) been suggested? The two games are like "Monty Python's Complete Waste of Time" but with an INSANE train game by way of everyone's favorite clay man and dog duo!
ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteI've been busy downloading gems from here as well as isos from archive.org (what a treasure chest!), mostly edutainment software like Reader Rabbits, Jump Start etc. because I would like my kid to enjoy a good learning experience without the nasty monetization attempts of many modern smartphone apps... anyway, long story short, half the software doesn't work in compatibility mode or even my Windows 95 VMWare machine for various reasons... since your request list is very long, could you maybe consider writing a few blog entries on how you go about setting things up; it might be a good alternative if I'd know where to start (DOSBox highly confuses me, I must say). Help would be highly appreciated, but you have already done a lot with this website, thank you!!
I'd like to request the Operation pc game from 1998 (based on the board game of the same name), I had a lot of fun with that game as a kid.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon...
ReplyDeletefirst I want to thank you for the effort to bring back great, games that marked my time.
I would like to suggest if possible the game acts soccer 2 by GREMLIN INTERACTIVE.
Thank you very much in advance!!!
hugs
Hi, firstly thank you for bringing this collection of games back to life for us to play!
ReplyDeleteI would like to suggest DK Dinosaur Hunter and DK Castle Explorer, both are edutainment style games that i loved as a kid.
Awesome site! Would you consider adding 'Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb'?
ReplyDeleteCan you add Black & White 2 to the site at some point?
ReplyDeleteIf possible, could you add Elroy Hits the Pavement or Elroy Goes Bugzerk? These are two very good games from the 90's! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWill Petz 5 be added to the site?
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to resuscitate Hogs of war? it is on win 95-98. it is in GOG. it came out in 2000. no version works today((
ReplyDeleteThere is a version for PS1, but I don't like it at all.
DeleteIt's currently available to buy on GOG, so it won't be considered. Good game though.
Deletehttps://www.gog.com/game/hogs_of_war
I have repeatedly tried to run it((
Deletesystem requirements:
DeleteWindows XP / Vista / 7
i have 10
Please at least put her on the list. don't let her die.
Sadly, I won't put anything up that is still sold legitimately, regardless of how badly they do it. I did find this, though.
Deletehttps://steamcommunity.com/app/389900/discussions/0/135514376585270401/
And Silent hunter 1996. it is on DOS and win95. there should be no problem with it. (there is a standard version 1.00 and commander version 1.31)
ReplyDeleteSince OCEAN based movie games have been released through the Chamber's gates before, I would love to make a request for another film based on a story by Philip K. Dick..."Total Recall" for Amiga (1990)!
ReplyDeleteHopefully you can remember it for us wholesale ;)
I had this for the Atari ST! Have to find the box for it and play it again.
DeleteAnother suggested game to add to your list; Neo Hunter, 1996 by Ronin Entertainment https://www.mobygames.com/game/neohunter
ReplyDeleteSince you have two of the Deep Space Nine PC games (Harbinger and The Fallen), you may be interested in the last DS9-specific game called Dominion Wars. It's a RTS in which players can play as either the Federation or Dominion during the Dominion war from the latter part of the show.
ReplyDeleteThere's lots of info here: https://gaming.trekcore.com/dominionwars/
But it's a huge pain to get it running. I was only able to successfully launch and get into gameplay on a Windows 7 machine using this workaround: https://www.fleetops.net/forums/startrek/play-ds9-dominion-wars-on-modern-hardware-12653?p=206985#p206985
Either way, keep up the great work.
Hi, I recently tried to get Secrets of the Luxor to work, but without success.
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if you could add that one.
Been looking for a game called Cyber Grannies that was a weird early 3d edutainment game, would love to see this archived anywhere. The company that made these games no longer exists and it isn't even really mentioned in many places. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and I hope someone is able to save this somewhere
ReplyDeleteGood day,
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the great work you are doing! Its really nice to be able to come back and play games I used to as a kid. If you have the time I hope you can work on Rome: Caesar's Will. Its a really neat mystery game set in Ancient Rome... but its impossible to play on newer machines :C
Do you think you could do Cookie's Bustle?
ReplyDeletehttps://archive.org/details/cookies_bustle_windows
I have no clue how the hell I'm supposed to get the installer working.
Thanks for all the media preservation work by the way.
I kind of hate asking, because I imagine that you're swamped but do you think that you could do Mission Kelloggs/Kelloggs: Mission Neutrition at some point? It was the first game I ever played and I'd love to play it again.
ReplyDeleteI love your site, as someone who loves the preservation of old games and making them more accessible. Thank you again.
Thnks! I love getting recommendations, even if I cannot respond to all of them let alone spend the time to source them and get them running.
DeleteThis is interesting, it seems GOG could be getting most of the Activision Star Trek titles including Hidden Evil which you've mentioned you've had trouble getting to work https://www.pcgamesn.com/gog-star-trek
ReplyDeleteAfter years of trying, GOG will beat me to it. Typical :/
DeleteElite Force was even ready, but a friend of mine wanted to be the one to review it so it's been him for a while. Until they're confirmed to be going to GOG, they're still eligible here but if true, I might not get to them in time.
At least they're back which is always a plus.
We'll see on September 8, if the rumored batch of Trek games is going to actually show up on GOG or a day or two after the anniversary day on the 8th.
DeleteYou could get some of the Interplay Star Trek titles on here i cant see Klingon Academy or New Worlds been on GOG anytime soon
DeleteIts official, Activision Star Trek games on GOG https://www.gog.com/partner/startrek
ReplyDeleteCould you consider "Savage: The Ultimate Quest For Survival"? I have tried everything I know to get it to work on DOSBox, but it always freezes at the initial screen resolution configuration in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteWith the recent additions of Star Trek games to the site, another one for your list would be Star Trek Starfleet Command 2: Empires at War and its expansion pack Orion Pirates
ReplyDeleteThanks for your site! It's been of such great use to me and lets me play so much I'd never have had the chance to play otherwise.
ReplyDeleteTo toss onto the pile of requests, I'd like to suggest Congo: Descent into Zinj.
I have another request. I'd like to see the Casper Spirited Beginning Activity Center here. I know it probably won't happen for quite some time if at all but I just wanted to put that out there :)
ReplyDeleteDK Dinosaur Hunter and DK Castle Explorer!! Both games from my childhood i would love to play again!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to play "Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor". Would love if you could get to it one day!
ReplyDeleteI have a request: Awesome Animated Monster Maker Ultra Edition
ReplyDeleteI'd love to request After Dark Games, spent hours playing it back in the day. I have found the install files but can't seem to get it working on Windows 10
ReplyDeleteBack again with a game that I think is a challenge: King of the Hill for PC. This game from 2000 is essentially a mini-game collection and simple Arlen neighborhood simulation, as well as hunting simulation. It's also built in Shockwave which adds a layer of technical complexity since it seems to only specifically work in Win98 VMs.
ReplyDeleteBut the real trick with this one is that it will not run without a physical disc in a physical CD-ROM drive. The ISO is not enough. If you ever decide to tackle it, I'd gladly donate a physical copy with manual toward the effort.
https://kotaku.com/the-first-and-only-king-of-the-hill-video-game-came-out-1835943872
Have you seen that The Wheel of Time is now on GOG
ReplyDeleteCan you port Doctor Who: Destiny of the Doctors?
ReplyDeleteWould be nice if you could make these games ready to play again on modern systems:
ReplyDelete- Fate of the Dragon
https://www.myabandonware.com/game/fate-of-the-dragon-dwq
- Vikings: The Strategy of Ultimate Conquest
(featuring Star Trek's Michael Dorn :-) )
https://www.myabandonware.com/game/vikings-the-strategy-of-ultimate-conquest-dfl
Saban's Power Rangers Zeo Versus The Machine Empire:
https://www.myabandonware.com/game/saban-s-power-rangers-zeo-versus-the-machine-empire-gfr
Adiboo would be a great addition
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteI would like to request Dr Drago's Madcap Chase on here.
It's a great multiplayer game that would be great to play online with parsec.
Eraser - Turnabout will run using Dosbox-X 0.83.13 /32-bit. I am not sure about the swapping of disks, I have the second disk mounted as drive E: I am not good enough at the game to get that far. The game is definitely in line with the content on this site. I have also seen reports of people running it with the patch and DX-Wind.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried it with DxWnd yet, but the game does work perfectly in DOSBox DAUM+Windows 95. The disks don't merge into one as different important files are named the same and the have to be read from the same drive. I might go back to it using DOSBox-X as that supports disk swapping using Ctrl-F4 when running Windows 95 while DAUM doesn't.
DeleteI would like to add "Skyrealms of Jorune: Alien Logic" to the list :)
ReplyDeletehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_Logic:_A_Skyrealms_of_Jorune_Adventure
It would be good to see older Shadowrun console games - one for SNES and especially one for Sega Genesis/MegaDrive (with its open world and procedurally generated quests). Also Star General (1996) - one of classic SSI's 5-Star General series (also known as Panzer General series). This game is so rare to find and to get it working on newer PCs. Also possibly earlier Tenchu stealth action games...
ReplyDeleteI would like to add Dark Secrets of Africa
ReplyDeletehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Secrets_of_Africa
First of all, thanks for the wonderful site!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to add a very obscure game that has me intrigued: "Avarice: The Final Saga". It's an adventure game from 1996 made by Dave Pottinger, who went on to be a lead developer on the Age of Empires and Age of Mythology series. Seems it was highly ambitious and was billed as "the Myst killer" and "arguably the most advanced adventure game ever developed for the PC on any platform". Thing is, it's only for OS/2, so there might be a challenge to making it work.
https://www.legendsworld.net/adventure/game/10178
https://www.stardock.com/products/avarice/
And another one, slightly less obscure: "Skyborg: Into the Vortex", an adventure made by the trading card company Skybox. I haven't played it, but it seems like an interesting oddity: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyborg:_Into_the_Vortex
I haven't looked into MAC OS emulation too deeply yet, but there a number of games I want to try that are exclusive to it - Avarice being one of them. I hear Basilisk II is the best bet from what I can tell.
DeleteIf I'm not mistaken, Avarice is for IBM's OS/2, not Mac, so it would be even harder to make it work, I'm not even sure emulation for that exists. I've tried Basilisk II for some Mac-only games (the Refixion series from Synergy Inc) and it works quite well, but I think it'll be quite annoying to package games with it like you do with other non-Mac games here, as it's not very user-friendly. Luckily, ScummVM is working on supporting games from the Director engine, so some day many of those Mac games will be easier to play.
DeleteI just discovered this wonderful site today, it's literally the only site on Earth that has Rebel Moon Rising repacked and working with its soundtrack, TYSM!
ReplyDeleteCan you please do a request for me? There's this game called War Gods, it's a fighting game originally released for Arcades in 1996 (and in 1997 for PC and consoles). I cannot get the PC version to work because the installer is incompatible on modern Windows systems, I tried what's written on the PCGamingWiki article but I still get the same error (as if I didn't do anything)!
I downloaded it from here (don't worry, no viruses):
https://archive.org/details/WarGodsPC
The issue as described on PCGamingWiki:
https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/War_Gods#Issues_fixed
Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Gods_(video_game)
Thank you.
Hi Biffman, thanks for all of the work you have put into getting these games playable again. The collection chamber is a godsend for retro pc gaming. I'd like to request a game to add to the collection.
ReplyDeleteFade to Black (1995) by Delphine Software. The sequel to the extremely popular Flashback. I was very surprised to find that this game is not available on any digital storefront. At the moment it seems it has been lost to time.
Thanks again.
Me too. I was sure it was in my GOG library so I've deliberately ignored it. I bought the game new when it first hit the EA Classics budget line and I liked it at the time. I also bought the PSX port on a whim when I saw it pre-owned for £1 too. Perhaps it's time to revisit it. Can't say when though.
DeleteCould you possible do One Must Fall: Battlegrounds? I've been trying to get the full game working since yesterday, but it's been a complete crapshoot thanks to the DRM not working on modern systems.
ReplyDeleteHi Biffman, thank you for all the hard work you put on archiving old games. I have 3 requests:
ReplyDeleteFirst off, let's start with the weakest game:
XS (1996)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XS_(video_game)
It's not a very good game I heard, but I'd really wish if you can make a repack because I couldn't get it to run on DOSBox no matter what, I have downloaded the files somewhere from various sites and none of them worked. I heard that it's because you need to install it to the C: drive, I tried that but no luck.
This is probably the strongest game in this request:
Codename Eagle (1999)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codename_Eagle
I couldn't get it to run because the installer doesn't do anything, it has the same issue as Rebel Moon Rising where if you launch the installer and click on "install," nothing happens! The installer just closes itself with nothing after that.
And lastly, the game that I want the most:
Assassin 2015 (1996)
https://www.mobygames.com/game/assassin-2015
Please, if you had to make a repack of only ONE of those 3, let it be this game, I care a lot about graphics and this game has mind blowing graphics for its time, I would go as far as call it "the Crysis of 1996."
XS is already on the site, though I admit I never play mulitplayer.
Deletehttps://collectionchamber.blogspot.com/p/xs-shield-up-fight-back.html
The others looks interesting. I remember Assassin 2015 getting a lot of hype back in the day, but I don't think I ever played it.
Thank you for the reply, do your best my friend!
DeleteZPC would be great to have a working version:
ReplyDeletehttps://www.mobygames.com/game/zpc
I played the demo back then and was fascinated by it's graphic style.
I'm very happy to find working versions of some more obscure early 90's 3d-shooters like Krazy Iwan or Blam! here. There is one further game that fits very well into that category I would love to be able to play as it was meant to be played: NECRODOME. The shooter made you switch between a tank-like futuristic vehicle and walk-by shooting, quite unique for its time and stood out that way. The game itself isn't even that hard to run on modern systems with some tweaks, but unfortunately it's AFAIK impossible to run it with the original videos on 64bit windows, because it relies on SMACK/SMK video files to run them which are not compatible with Win1064. If you ever find the time to figure out a way to make that game work as intended on modern systems, it would be absolutely awesome.
ReplyDeleteALMOST going on 20 years back from 2004 is ALIAS, a game based on J.J. Abrams' series starring Jennifer Garner. While the game has largely been forgotten the programme remains an 00s classic. ( https://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/alias )
ReplyDeleteHi Biffman! Can you please hurry and make a proper repack for Heavy Gear 1? I know it's already in this list, but I want to play it so badly because it is very unstable on modern systems. I have 2 main issues with it:
ReplyDelete1. No soundtrack even when the CD is inserted (I even tried installing it from an online copy of the CD but no luck, game works but without music)
2. Black squares on smokes and other effects.
If you are experiencing blue/black squares during FMVs, someone described the issue here:
https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?p=888824#p888824
I downloaded a codec for my PC and then the FMVs worked.
The other issues I just can't get the hang of them. You can find HG1 on MyAbandonware.
I hope you can do your best my friend.
Hi Biffman, thanks for all the hard work, love your releases. If you could add 'Top Gun Hornet's Nest' to the request list it would be appreciated. With the recent big success of Maverick at the box office it would be nostalgia appreciated. I believe it can be done with PCem but prefer your nifty install packages.
ReplyDeleteLove the site. Just throwing out a request for Mr. Potato Head Saves Veggie Valley. Even if you don't do it, thank you for doing what you do.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Panic in the Park and/or Detective Barbie in The Mystery of the Carnival Caper! Either way, thank you for all that you do, I've discovered so many interesting games thanks to this site!
ReplyDeleteAny chance you could maybe add Clue: Murder at Boddy Mansion? Although I did manage to get it running on a Windows 10 computer, the small screen resolution that is impossible to change in any way makes it barely enjoyable, and I've also came across a bug of some sorts that makes the AI stuck in the middle of the game and the game freezes and needs to be restarted, however I'm not sure whether or not this can be fixed, but in any case I'd love to be able to play this in a 16:9 resolution because this is my childhood game
ReplyDeleteI have made some leeway with it, but I can't tell you when it'll be up. Definitely on my radar though.
DeleteHey there, just discovered this site recently n was wondering if there's a chance you could add the Carnivores games please?
ReplyDeleteNot sure if they're still sold or not. I know they were on Steam at one point and got delisted. I did play the first two at least a little back in the day, either as a demo or sourced from Home of the Underdogs but even the cool-looking dinosaurs couldn't get me into them.
DeleteI'm looking to get some board games. 1998 Stratego, 1998 Monopoly, Sorry, Boggle, and Clue Murder at Boddy Mansion. I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd add them to your library. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThey are on my list, particularly the Cluedo games, but I can't tell you when I'll get to them
DeleteHey love the site, I was looking to see if you had Secret Paths in the Forest and Nightmare Ned both released in 1997.
ReplyDeleteWill BIT BOT'S MATH VOYAGE be added to this site so I can download and play I remember playing this game at school as a kid.
ReplyDeleteHey Biffman, I noticed you even got the DVD ROM game for Eight Legged Freaks. If you have the Five Star or Collector's Edition of the Independence Day DVD please see if you can get the DVD ROM game 'Get Off My Planet' isolated. It was like a morse code trivia game from PC Friendly / InterActual. Not sure if it's possible since I think those games required connecting to their servers to run. But I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteHi Biffman, can you upload Kipulkai.Le.Secret.Du.Kiboa.French.ISO-KidZ please? For years this old release (listed on predb) has been lost and i'm wondering if by any chance you have it. Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteTHE FIFTH ELEMENT from 1998 please!
ReplyDeleteHello! I am looking for the game Ominous horizons: a Paladin’s calling from 2001!
ReplyDeleteGreetings... Nice collection of games. I am looking for the game Batman doom reborn from 1999!
ReplyDeletePlease consider "Sentinel: Descendants in Time" also known as "Realms of Illusion" by Detalion games. Their best game imo.
ReplyDeleteI own it so it's on my list, but I haven't played it since it first came out.
DeleteHere's a request: South Park Rally (2000). The game used to work not too long ago. The game no longer launches on Windows 10 unfortunately

ReplyDelete1. Batman doom reborn

ReplyDeletehttps://www.myabandonware.com/game/fx-fighter-turbo-dir
The game is extremely difficult to install on modern systems but probably easy to implement with your emulators.
Take No Prisoners become available on GOG today.
ReplyDeleteI've found info about The Gladiators: Galactic Circus Games - not sure if English version is available, only got hands on German version before TheISOZone got shut down.
Still looking for Goldenland (Zlatogorye 2) or Evil Islands - Lost in Astrae
Okay, so, hear me out.... this one may be a little controversial:
ReplyDeleteLimbo of the Lost
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limbo_of_the_Lost
This game is infamous for being full of assets stolen from..... everyone. There's videos and articles about it. A point and click adventure game, literally every sound effect and graphical item in the game, other than the character models and voice work, is stolen from something else.
This game NEEDS to be preserved. It never ran all that good in the first place, unsurprisingly, but now its getting near impossible to play, what with all the crashing. Somebody out there needs to ensure that this game is preserved, somehow, for future generations to study, and more importantly, point and laugh at.
I'd like to request the quasi-Nocturne sequels:
ReplyDeleteBlair Witch Volume 1: Rustin Parr (2000)
Blair Witch Volume 2: The Legend of Coffin Rock (2000)
Blair Witch Volume 3: The Elly Kedward Tale (2000)
I've never managed to get them running from MyAbandonware :(
Maybe also The Godfather: The Game (2006) since the Abandonware version makes mention of it being riddled with Malware and the PS3 emulation doesn't work due to it having motion controls in the OG game.
Thanks for all the fantastic work!
pls do the janky masterpiece Boiling Point - Road to Hell also known as Xenus from 2005 and also consider Cursed Mountain a PC port of a Wii game from 2009 thx
ReplyDeleteHello! First of all, I would like to say thank you for all the EXCELLENT work you do with bringing these games and making them work on newer systems. You are really fighting the good fight! Cheers from this fan of yours from Eastern Europe.
ReplyDeleteI would have just a very humble request: can you add the Smart Games Challenge games? I like the first one the best, but any of them would do just fine. The problem is that, while I played these games before, I can no longer do this on my new Win 10 laptop, and the older computer is not functioning anymore. The problem with Smart Games is that they don't run on anything older than a Win 7 (I tried). I am requesting this because, while other games that are requested here are available on other sites and work as "repacks", I have not found any version of SMG that works on a modern platform, so I really thing such games should be a priority. Cheers, and may this site live forever!
Great stuff dude. Lately I've been in the mood for cyberpunk themed games and would love to see a modernized version of the Philip K. Dick based UBIK from 1998 for Windows, and the 1988 Neuromancer for MS-DOS by Interplay. Shadowrun for the SNES would be dope too.
ReplyDeleteHi, could you please add the D.A. Pursuit of Justice series to the list? There are three games, but I only managed to find the third one (I think this is the 2001 remake):
ReplyDeletehttps://www.myabandonware.com/game/pursuit-of-justice-e6g
It's a shame that there's so little info about these games online. It'd be really cool if you could find the other two cases. Thanks a lot!
Been following this site for a long time now. Incredible work! Was hoping to see Emperor: Battle for Dune at some point. Definetely a long lost gem for fans of the RTS genre when it was in its prime. I appreciate your time and work.
ReplyDeleteHey, just found this site recently and LOVE what you're doing here. Everything I've downloaded runs buttery smooth. Because of this, my request is for a game called "Safecracker" released in 1997. I have it running via PCem, but the sound stutters a little bit in places. If it could get the same installer treatment as your other downloads, that would be HEAVEN. Keep up the awesome work!
ReplyDeleteZPC (Zero Population Count)
ReplyDeleteWould love if you could do the N64 game Rocket Robot on Wheels
ReplyDeleteLove the collection so thought id make two requests. Could you please work your magic on the following ive reached my wits end trying to play them:
ReplyDeleteMission Nutrition
https://oldgamesdownload.com/mission-nutrition-kelloggs/
its a pack in pc platformer that (at least nostalgically for me) very good and i really wanna beat it.
H.E.D.Z
https://www.myabandonware.com/game/h-e-d-z-head-extreme-destruction-zone-dh0
Every time ive finally got it running again (Usually though an old pc) something goes wrong last time was an old xp laptop that finally kicked the buckett taking my save with it
Hi Biffman, I have a new request for you think about. Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller. It's not on any digital stores which is a little surprising since Bloodnet came out first, was made by the same company and is available on Steam and GOG.
ReplyDeleteHello, first of all thanks for repacking all of these rare and otherwise lost to time games. This one one deserves a new chance too, Game in question is the almost completely lost ¨in pursuit of greed¨ The source port of the game was almost unplayble when I tried it but perhaps releasing it here running on dosbox would bring it back in it`s original glory.
ReplyDeletePlease consider Hellcab. I have fond memories of this Win3.1 game, and I would like to play it properly, as even when I played it on Win95 it was a buggy mess. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdTOUWEUIRM
ReplyDeleteHi Biffman, would you mind adding both of the Roly-Polys games to the chamber? (Roly-Polys no Nanakorobi Yaoki, Roly-Polys no Sekai Ryokou) They're made by Osamu Sato, the same guy who brought us the Eastern Mind series.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see Apollo 18: The Moon Missions make an appearance. It's an obscure Apollo flight simulation from 1999. Actually it's not much, it's mainly pressing buttons with some arcade sequences, but it has a lot of lore.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see the obscure DOS game "Flipout", nice breakout style game with an interesting art direction
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the games like "Sanitarium" or "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream"
ReplyDeleteHi, please I'd like to see the Reader Rabbit games uploaded to the collection. I really loved playing those games and I'd give anything to play them again
ReplyDeleteAny chance that you could create an installer for the english version (on dos) of "wibarm" published by
ReplyDeleteBrøderbund Software?
A request to get Armed and Delirious aka Dementia on this site. A very unusual and weird point n click adventure from 1997
ReplyDeleteNile: Passage to Egypt (Discovery Channel, 1995) was a pretty slick playable documentary, capstoned by a match of the ancient board game "Senat" against King Ramses II! Had me so enthralled that I still have (most of) a physical Senat set tucked away~
ReplyDeleteA request for Star Trek DAC (2009)
ReplyDeleteCould you please do the following games:
ReplyDelete- The Wonders of Electricity: An Adventure in Safety
- Colors and Shapes with Hickory
- Math and Spelling with Monker
- Science Shop with Monker
- Dragon in a Wagon
- A Color Clown Comes to Town
- Rockett's New School
- Rockett's Tricky Decision
- Rockett's Secret Invitation
- Rockett's First Dance
- StarFlyers Royal Jewel Rescue
- StarFlyers Alien Space Chase
- Four Footed Friends
- Mission Masters Math Grade 3 Defeat Dirty D
- Dinosaur Dig Cyber Adventure
- The Junior Science Series Volume 2: Shadows
- The Junior Science Series Volume 3: Directions
- The Junior Science Series Volume 4: Distance
- The Junior Science Series Volume 5: Light
- Henry the Hedgehog's Big Adventure
Thanks!
Could you please try to add IGOR: OBJECTIVE UIKOKAHONIA. (English version) It's a great looking point n click game which I've never managed to get running. Many thanks.
ReplyDeleteShadowcaster by Raven Software, esp. cd-rom edition. Precursor to Hexen
ReplyDeleteThis is a tricky one, but, I'd like to request an Edutainment game that I think a good chunk of British school-kids from the late 1990's/early 2000's will vaguely remember.
ReplyDeleteIt was called something like 'The Crystal Rainforest' and in an isometric 2D fashion you explore a pyramid, and then a rainforest learning about nature and solving simple maths puzzles to progress.
Problem is, I'm writing this entirely from memory and have no idea who made the game, or what year it came out.
What do You think to add this games:
ReplyDeleteDead To Rights 1 and 2 (WIN)
Fear Effect 1 and 2 (PSX)
Deep Fear (Sega Saturn)
Carrier (Dreamcast)
Anyway to see if you can get Nickelodeon Director’s Lab or Cartoon Networks Toon Jam to work? Those are some classic gems
ReplyDeleteJust asking as I have never been able to get this game to work, for Gorky Zero: Beyond Honor(WIN).
ReplyDeleteHi.
ReplyDeleteShine (1996) https://www.mobygames.com/game/18828/shine/
ReplyDeleteHi. I would be grateful if you could add Missing on Lost Island. It's a point n click game in the style of Monkey Island. I would be forever grateful.
ReplyDeleteOne I've been trying to get working using DosBox is Mickey Saves the Day (3D Adventure). I've so far managed to get it working enough to beat, but the final room with Pete seems to slow it down so much that models actually begin to de-load.
ReplyDeleteMotorhead (1998) https://www.mobygames.com/game/121/motorhead/
ReplyDeleteWould love to see you tackle Paddington: The World Mystery Tour!
ReplyDeleteCould you please make one for the game "Max and the Haunted Castle"? It is a game that mean a lot to me and my wife back when we were kids and we have always wanted to play it again, but we could not find a way to do it. I tried emulating it many times but maybe I am too dumb to make it work :( There is a link for it on the Internet Archive here: https://archive.org/details/max-haunted-castle
