UPDATE - November 2024

Okay, so before the chaos of Christmas descends on us all, I though I'd catch you up on what I've been doing inside the Collection Chamber this November. I've caught up on a few overdue reviews and updated a few install packages (though not as many as I wanted - damn real life). Hopefully, some longstanding issues have been fixed.

Isle of the Dead, Gast: The Greatest Little Ghost, OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast and the Ghostbusters Collection all have their respective reviews finished. Those last two have also featured updates as well as The Devil Inside. Hopefully they run a bit better now, though check out their respective ChamberNotes for more information or the Chamber FAQ for more troubleshooting stuff.

As for the upcoming annual Christmas Countdown, a good chunk of what's to come has been completed, so expect a snowy time (for a couple of them at least). The twelve days of Christmas begins December 14th!

UPDATE - MAY 2018

I've had a heck of a time this past week or so and all because MicroSoft's April update for Windows 10 screwed up my system (I'll rant about it later). Thankfully it came at a time where I'm in between work contracts so I still had the time to do some Chamber stuff before and after that cataclysmic event. Read on to find out what games have been updated and also some exciting developments for future games...

UPDATE - JUNE 2017

Those who follow me on Facebook or Twitter will know that this past month has been dedicated to reader requests. I have an ever-growing list of requests, of which many have sadly not been so successful in getting them to work. If you haven't seen your suggested game in the last month, keep reading after the jump to hear if it was one of my failed attempts. There's also the usual site news and a couple of game updates in there too!

UPDATES - SEPTEMBER 2016

There's a a fair few updates to grace the Collection Chamber over the last few months. For starters a number of games have been improved (find out which after the jump) but perhaps the most significant is the inclusion of a FAQ. Located on the right-hand-side just below the search bar, you will find many answers to common questions about the download sites I use as well as suggestions for common problems you may encounter. I'll still answer any queries you may have to the best of my abilities, but you may find the answer you are looking for there.

UPDATES - JANUARY 2016 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year! It's a few days late, I know, but man have I been busy. In fact, it's not just festivities that kept me occupied this Christmas period, but some Windows 10 woes has meant that this humble hobby site has been left by the wayside. Anyway, I'm free of crashes and commitments for a short while so read on to find out more including what's coming up in the next few weeks...

It's been a  while, I know. My day job suddenly decided to kick into overdrive leaving me little time to do much else. It's slowed down a bit now freeing me up for some much needed gaming.

UPDATES - JULY 2015 - DISCWORLD NOIR!

My work priorities may have seen a reduction of posts of late, but that hasn't stopped me from messing around with DOSBox. I have now got Windows 95 working as perfectly as can be expected inside the powerful emulator, which means many games that are notoriously difficult to get running on modern systems actually work! Read more to see the exciting updates...

UPDATES - JUNE 2015

I've decided to update some of my older downloads to bring their quality up to par with what I've been doing more recently. Most of them are simply aesthetic changes or removing excess files not needed to run the game. Take a look at the full list of changes after the jump.
