On this eve of All Hallow's Eve, take a trip down memories once forgotten with October's spooktacular quintet of games. Adventure meets FPS in the movie tie-in to the classic horror franchise Bloodwings: Pumpkinhead's Revenge. Then make sure you Don't Go Alone in an under-appreciated computer RPG from the late 80s. If you make it out alive, investigate some real-life hauntings with Christopher Lee in Ghosts. Need some lighter scares? Try Scooby-Doo! Showdown in Ghost Town, a point-and-click adventure for younger players. If bloody gore's more your thing, enter the horrifying fantasy world of Witchaven, an often overlooked FPS using the Build engine. Enjoy.... if you dare!!!

Hey, thanks a lot! I played the Pumpkinhead game years ago, I forgot how rock-hard it was lol.
ReplyDeleteWhile you're at horror themed FMV games, any chance you could try to get the Vampire Diaries to work?
It's a really obtuse game, and one you probably need a manual of FAQ to understand what everything does. There's still something uniquely oddball to it that the contrarian in me quite likes, even if I can't in all consciousnees call it a good game.
DeleteThe Vampire Diaries game sounds like an intriguing choice. I haven't watched it or read it, but I have heard of the title.
DeleteNice ! thank you !! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome
DeleteBadass games, thanx biff.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure
DeleteHi i found a few obscure game titles that would be awesome if you search for and maybe post for download, they are very rare and hard to find; Cybermage Darklight Awakening (1995), Wrath of the Earth (1995), Gesta Final (2013), Schizm a Mysterious Journey (2001), Mobile Suit Gundam part 1: Gundam stands on the Ground (1983), Dimensional Fighter epsilon 3 (1985), Mobile Suit Z Gundam: Hot Scramble (1986).
ReplyDeleteCybermage was already posted in September, but I'm seconding Wrath of the Earth. A completely ignored gem that should get much more recognition.
DeleteHi, I don't know most of those games, but Schizm: Mysterious Journey is a good choice, especially because old adventure games are the largest category of games on this site. I can tell you, however, that Biffman can't post that, because it is commercially available on GOG.
ReplyDeleteLol nostalgic heart attack! If you ever have time, consider giving a try on these:
ReplyDeleteScooby-Doo!: Mystery of the Fun Park Phantom
Dark Side of the Moon: A Sci-Fi Adventure
SpongeBob Squarepants: Employee of the Month
Great job once more!!
